sound problems

hello i am having sound problems watching some movies on this site. i have recently changed my laptop from vaio to hp and since then half of the movies have not got sound. i have downloaded many codecs such as fdshow, lastest divx, codecs etc but nothing works . like i wanted to watch indian file rab na... they was no sound???plz what should i do... i watch online as i do not download as this will take forever.

Try codec packs such as CCCP or Klite etc.

Download and buffer speed should be the same so try to download ant then .... there are some progs that can help you determine which codacks you are missing.

You are probably missing the AC3 filter... Try downloading this and install it and see if it helps.

try using vlc player videolan.org

Searching that way is complicated, just type in whatever it is on the right hand side where it says "Search Forums", be vague so that you can be sure that you will find what you are looking for :)

Is it possible to stream from a mac. I am having issues with sound codecs.

Hey, don't really know a lot about macs...there are a few things to try here if you're still having problems...
